Government Relations Account Executive

Focusing on Government and stakeholder engagement, we are looking for an account executive with experience talking to many different people and working on complex projects.

You will need to be able to keep accurate records, analyse trends and results, and work in a collaborative team environment to deliver great campaigns for serious (and seriously interesting) business to business clients.

Main Duties, Tasks and Responsibilities

  • develop media releases, pitches and materials, including research, writing, editing, collating and distributing through relevant social media channels;
  • liaise and attend meetings with clients, media, prospective clients, and internal teams;
  • monitor and report on client media and social media activity;
  • provide backbone support on client campaigns and to the office team
  • participate as active and interested team members, providing support to colleagues and ensuring they take every opportunity presented to learn and develop;

Mid-Weight Designer

Primary Create (previously known as Circus) is expanding our creative team and we’re on the hunt for a talented Mid-Weight Graphic Designer. Someone who brings a great eye for design as well as detail, who’s looking to take that next step with the support of our highly experienced design and creative team.

Working collaboratively with our staff and clients, across a range of consumer, corporate and government entities, we need someone who is an all-rounder, ready to roll up their sleeves to deliver first class work across print, digital and social, from creation to execution.

Familiar with a fast-paced, dynamic and client-centric agency culture, we require a proactive designer who works seamlessly with others and can engage and communicate well with team members and clients.

Working Arrangements

The role offers the following working arrangement:

  • 3 days working at Surry Hills office
  • 2 days working from home

Key responsibilities:

  • Concept, create and implement across a wide range of print and digital assets
  • Maintain the highest quality standards of design across all media
  • Keep up-to-date with emerging, relevant technologies and design trends
  • Ready and eager to learn new skills and technologies
  • Work on multiple projects at any given time
  • Ability to work in a team and independently
  • Show maturity when receiving feedback from the team, creative director or client

Skills And Experience

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and confident with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint)
  • Minimum 4 years’ agency experience
  • Proven digital experience
  • An interest in social media, video content & animation
  • Amazing attention to detail
  • Works well under pressure
  • Ego free with a good sense of humour

Interns & graduate opportunities

Each year Primary provides up to three paid intern positions. Every intern will have the opportunity to work on specific client projects and will be evaluated on their performance.

Mentoring is provided by one of our senior managers, and there is also strong peer support from our team of young guns.
